"Lately I Feel Everything" Is The Upcoming New Album Of Willow Smith
“I just wanted to let loose with this album. I wanted to have fun and be young and not be so existential and worrying all the time."

We have all witnessed the rise and comeback of alternative music in the latest couple of years, from XXXTentacion mashing Slipknot’s tracks, to MGK, Ho99o9, Yungblud, Big Joanie, but especially thanks to Travis Barker who is to be recognized for the effort put into involving independent alternative artist by signing them to his label, producing their tracks and by playing drums for most of their songs.
A force to be reckon, Willow Smith is finally releasing her most significant album so far.
Something that she’s been looking for her whole life, the space to express herself in the rock and metal world which is mostly male white dominated.

Willow Has taken the world by its storm and followed her mother’s footsteps rooted in metal. In fact, Jada Smith used to front a metal band in the early 2000s.
We will never cease to mention the importance of Black people in the alternative music industry, And Jada Smith was definitely An important presence that shouldn’t be forgotten by the scene.
Lately I Feel Everything is set to be released July 16th and will include tracks featured by Travis Barker and Avril Lavigne. This sounds very exciting and a jump into the past for all the 90s kids out there who grew up listening to blink-182 and at the same time loved jamming to "Sk8er Boy".

“[B]eing a Black woman in the metal crowd is very, very different on top of the pressures that the music industry puts on you,” she said. “Now, it’s like an added pressure of the metal culture, the metal world, and just rock in general. I used to get bullied in school for listening to Paramore and My Chemical Romance.”
While waiting for her new track “Lipstick” to be released, we want you to enjoy the music video of her explosive pop-punk song “Transparent Soul”, a must listen if you’re a fan of Skye Sweetnam, Flyleaf and Paramore.
